affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of August 2025 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said roads have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE

Location
1) Close Church Way from its junction with Markets
Roundabout to its junction with Trafford Way including the
Southbound Bore (towards Cleveland Street Roundabout) of
the A638 Trafford Way Tunnel
2) Close Church Way from its entry slip junction with North
Bridge Road in a north easterly direction for 30 meters.
3) Close the Northbound Bore (towards St Georges Bridge
Roundabout) of the A638 Trafford Way Tunnel
4) Prohibit the right turn manoeuvre from Church View into
Church Way.
Dates and Times
1) Southbound direction only - 20:00hrs 19th August 2025
until 06:00hrs 20th August 2025
2) Northbound direction only - 20:00hrs 20th August 2025
until 06:00hrs 21st August 2025
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st August 2025.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed
to be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Gate
Wood Lane at Branton in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to overhead cabling are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of the
scheme and access arrangements.

make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Ruddle Lane at Micklebring in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst street lighting works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Ruddle Lane, Cockhill Lane, Long
Leys Lane, Doncaster Road, High Street, Ashton Lane, Marsh
Hill, Moor Lane, Greaves Sike Lane and vice versa.

make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Jossey Lane at Bentley in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to plane out and re-instate wearing
course in line with section 278 drawing and all associated
white lining are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Jossey Lane, Cooke Street,
Church Street, Pipering Lane, Amersall Road and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend,
not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an
Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act
1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or
near the road and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle/
pedestrian from proceeding in that length of the A6182 Great
Yorkshire Way at Rossington in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for the provision of specialist carriageway
asphalt preservation, patching, and subsequent road markings
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via White Rose Way, Middle
Bank Roundabout, The Sidings Roundabout, Carr House Road,
Racecourse Roundabout, Bawtry Road, Great North Road, Great
Yorkshire Way. Those residents and businesses directly affected
by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

The road will be closed for a maximum of 3 nights, between
19:00hrs and 05:00hrs during the dates shown.

workforce whilst cycleway construction works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via A18 Leger Way, Leicester Avenue,
Sandringham Road, Town Moor Avenue. Those residents and

intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Balby Road at Balby in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for principal bridge inspection utilising
a MEWP to reach all elements of the bridge are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Carr House Road to The Sidings
Roundabout and return. Those residents and businesses
directly affected by the works will be notified of the scheme
and access arrangements.
