Definitive Map Modification Order 2021
On the 05 June 2025 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order, as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the area, by recording a Restricted Byway from the junction with Haunders Lane in a generally northerly direction along an unsurfaced farm track to the junction with a public footpath recorded as 7-8-FP 3 and then along the route of the footpath to pass through Marsh Farm and then continuing along the farm access road (still recorded as 7-8-FP3) to Hannings Farm and the junction with Haunders Lane.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at the offices of the South Ribble Borough Council, and at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

The Order took effect on the 05 June 2025, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under Paragraph 11 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
