NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 DACORUM BOROUGH COUNCIL (KINGS LANGLEY FOOTPATH 17) STOPPING UP ORDER 2025
The above order was made on 27th June 2025. The effect of this order will be to stop up the full width of that part of Kings Langley Footpath 17 commencing from Love Lane at TL 0648 0292 and continuing north north west, through the land west of Love Lane for approximately 110 metres to south of school access road at TL 0643 0301 as shown on the order plan. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NORFOLK ROAD, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Norfolk Road, Rickmansworth from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.25 Norfolk Road north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 12m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Norfolk Road, Church Street, Skidmore Way, Waters Drive and Norfolk Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON BEETHOVEN ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD AND THE FOOTPATH SITUATED BETWEEN NO.30 AND NO.28 BEETHOVEN ROAD, ELSTREE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Beethoven Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Sullivan Way north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Coates Road, a distance of approximately 236m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Sullivan Way and Coates Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.28 and No.30 Beethoven Road, Elstree from its junction with Beethoven Road north westwards to its junction with Delius Close, a distance of approximately 67m ("the Footpath"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Beethoven Road, the footway situated on the east side of Sullivan Way and the footway situated on the south side of Delius Close. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road and Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN TOMS LANE, KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Toms Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Primrose Hill north eastwards for a distance of approximately 210m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Primrose Hill, Station Road, Gallows Hill, Hamilton Road, Hunton Bridge Hill, South Way, Langley Lane, Tibbs Hill Road, Bedmond Road, High Street and Toms Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON A411 BARNET LANE, ELSTREE AND FURZEHILL ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Elstree from its junction with A5183 High Street south eastwards for a distance of approximately 438m, except for access. An alternative route will be via A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill South), A41 Edgware Way (Watford Bypass), A1 Barnet Way (Barnet Bypass) and A411 Barnet Lane.
2. The existing 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Furzehill Road, Borehamwood from its junction with the A411 Barnet Lane roundabout north westwards to its junction with B3578 Shenley Road, a distance of approximately 1617m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.3 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and cycle lane (the Cycle Lane") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Benskin Road, Watford from a point 17m south west of its junction with Harwoods Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 17m. An alternative route will be via Benskin Road, A4145 (Hagden Lane/ Vicarage Road) and Harwoods Road.
2. To prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycle lane situated on the south east side of Benskin Road, Watford from its junction with Harwood Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 17m. Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway.
3. The existing one way traffic system on Benskin Road, Watford from a point 17m south west of its junction with Harwood Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 265m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads and Cycle Lane.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey from its junction with the Bushey Hall Road roundabout south westwards for a distance of approximately 80m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via B462 (Aldenham Road/Hartspring Lane), A41 North Western Avenue, A4008 Stephenson Way and A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/ Chalk Hill) or via B462 Aldenham Road, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/ Waterfields Way), A4008 Stephenson Way, A41 Otterspool Way and B462 (Hartspring Lane/Aldenham Road).

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Old Uxbridge Road, West Hyde from its junction with Tilehouse Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 300m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Old Uxbridge Road, A412 Denham Way and Old Uxbridge Road.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north east side of A412 Station Roundabout, the footway situated on the north east and east side of A404 Chorleywood Road, Rickmansworth Public Footpath No.029, the footway situated on the east side of Homestead Road and the footway situated on the south side of A412 Park Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all buses, pedal cycles and taxis from using the bus lane situated on the north side of Station Road, Watford from a point 28m south east of its junction with Bridle Path north westwards for a distance of approximately 78m.
An alternative route will be via Station Road.
"bus" has the same meaning as given in Regulation 22 of The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
"bus lane" has the same meaning as given in Regulation 23 of The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the southbound carriageway of A412 St Albans Road into Langley Road, Watford whilst works are in progress.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, the A411 The Avenue roundabout and A412 St Albans Road or via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove, Clarendon Road and Station Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the bus lane and roads.

An alternative route will be via Milton Street, Shakespeare Street, Leavesden Road, Lowestoft Road, A412 St Albans Road and Leavesden Road or via Milton Street, Copsewood Road, Leavesden Road, Shakespeare Street and Milton Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HYDE LANE, NASH MILLS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hyde Lane, Nash Mills from its junction with Lower Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 18m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Lower Road, Bunkers Lane, Bedmond Road and Hyde Lane.
A copy of the Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
The making of Traffic Regulation Orders is a statutory function of the County Council.
