What is happening?
TORBAY COUNCIL
NEW ROADS & STREET WORKS ACT 1991 SECTION 58 Notice of Highway Improvement, Reconstruction & Resurfacing
Notice is hereby given that Torbay Council intends to carry out substantial roadworks. Work is expected to affect the carriageway and will be commencing between September 2025 to January 2026.
The street/roads in which these works will take place are:
TORQUAY AREA
Reddinhill Road
PAIGNTON AREA
Goodrington Road (Palm View to Davies Avenue)
Goodrington Road (Gibson Road to Grange Road)
BRIXHAM AREA
Milton Street
The works notified will include Reconstructing of the carriageway and Improvement Schemes. Subject to the exemptions of the Act and Regulations under it. No street works may be executed for a period of twelve months to sixty months from completion of works described above without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
