REPPS WITH BASTWICK – C536 The Causeway from its junction with A149 High Road for 100m north westwards to facilitate patching works from 19:00 on 28th July to 05:00 on 29th July 2025 (may continue until 9th September 2025). RYBURGH – Station Road from its junction with Wensum Court for 100m eastwards to facilitate new gas connection works from 28th July to 1st August 2025 (may continue until 12th September 2025). WALSINGHAM – C597 Hindringham Road from 50m east of its junction with C322 Whey Curd Road for 50m eastwards to facilitate chamber cover replacement works from 28th to 30th July 2025 (may continue until 10th September 2025). BARFORD AND WRAMPLINGHAM – C162 Church Lane from its junction with U78059 Back Lane for 20m eastwards to facilitate fire hydrant repair works from 30th July to 1st August 2025 (may continue until 12th September 2025). BERGH APTON – C375 Mill Road from 135m southwest of its junction with A146 Loddon Road for 65m south westwards to facilitate new sewer and water connection works from 28th July to 1st August 2025 (may continue until 12th September 2025). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, A146 Loddon Road, A146 Hellington Corner, A146 Norwich Road, The Street, Cookes Road, Threadneedle Street (Bergh Apton, Alpington, Hellington, Ashby St. Mary, Thurton, Holverston). BRANDON PARVA, COSTON, RUNHALL AND WELBORNE & EAST TUDDENHAM – C200 Mattishall Road from its junction with U78012 Church Lane to its junction with U35010 Common Road to facilitate desilting and gulley works from 30th July to 1st August 2025 (may continue until 12th September 2025). Alternative route is via:

CLAXTON – C383 Church Lane from its junction with C202 The Street for 1200m southwards to facilitate new fibre network installation works for BDUK from 28th July to 5th September 2025 (may continue until 5th March 2026). Alternative route is via: Church Lane, Claxton Church Road, Mill Road, Hall Road, Church Road, Chapel Road, Chapel Lane, Spong Lane, Ferry Road, The Street, Claxton Corner (Claxton, Ashby St. Mary, Carleton St. Peter). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

COSTESSEY – Poethlyn Drive from its junction with Ringland Lane for 530 metres westwards owing to works nearby and to ensure access out of the estate. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 20th July 2025 that the existing bus lane on the Road will be temporarily suspended to allow all types of vehicular traffic to use the Road from 26th July to 3rd August 2025 (previously 21st to 25th July 2025) (may continue until 14th September 2025). The suspension of the bus lane on the Road will only have effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of on-site signs. Traffic must follow the direction of travel as indicated on the Road when directed by an Authorised Martial. While this Order is in force, the Norfolk County Council (Costessey, Poethlyn Drive) (Bus Lane) Order 2015 shall be suspended. An ‘Authorised Martial’ is a person authorised by Norfolk County Council to monitor and ensure the safe enforcement of the effect of this Order. Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Persimmon Homes.

DEREHAM – 1) U35241 Sandy Lane from its junction with B1146 Swaffham Road for 130m northwards and;

2) U30126 Elvin Road from its junction with U35241 Sandy Lane for 12m eastwards and;

3) U30130 St Hilda Road from its junction with U35241 Sandy Lane for 12m westwards to facilitate gas main replacement works from 28th July to 8th August 2025 (may continue until 19th September 2025). Alternative route is via: U35241 Sandy Lane/Colin McLean Road, C225 Gressenhall Road, B1146 Quebec Road/Swaffham Road and vice versa. The works promoter is Cadent.

SAHAM TONEY – C119 Hills Road from 290m northeast of its junction with C121 Ploughboy Lane for 310m north eastwards to facilitate replacement works for pole and electric cables from 28th to 29th July 2025 (may continue until 9th September 2025). THETFORD – Rosecroft Way (including the slip road) from its junction with Hirth Way for 195m eastwards to facilitate carriageway works from 28th July to 11th August 2025 (may continue until 22nd September 2025). Alternative route is via: A1066 Hurst Way, A1075 Norwich Road, Kilverstone Road, Charlock Road (Kilverstone, Brettenham, Thetford). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

YELVERTON – U76369 Framingham Earl Road from 160m west of its junction with C374 Church Road for 300m westwards to facilitate new fibre network installation works from 29th July to 4th August 2025 (may continue until 15th September 2025). Alternative route is via: Framingham Earl Road, Yelverton Road, Hall Road, Burgate Lane, Wheel Road, Church Road (Poringland, Framingham Earl, Alpington, Yelverton). The works promoter is CityFibre.

EAST RUDHAM – Bagthorpe Road from 500m north of its junction with North Pole Road for 100m northwards to facilitate pole and overhead cable replacement works between 08:30 and 18:00 from 30th to 31st July 2025 (may continue until 11th September 2025). EAST WINCH AND WEST BILNEY – Walton Road from 200m north of its junction with A47 for 540m northwards to facilitate tree surgery works between 08:00 and 16:00 from 28th to 29th July 2025 (may continue until 9th September 2025). The road will be temporarily closed and traffic shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload between 07:30 and 16:00 from 28th July to 24th August 2025 (may continue until 24th February 2026). MARSHLAND ST. JAMES – Middle Drove from 930m north of its junction with Outwell Road for 50m northwards to facilitate chamber cover and frame repair works from 28th to 31st July 2025 (may continue until 11th September 2025). TERRINGTON ST. JOHN – School Road from 663m south of its junction with Main Road for 50m southwards to facilitate new water connection works from 27th July to 1st August 2025 (may continue until 12th September 2025). Alternative route is via: School Road, Main Road, St Johns Road, Chapel Road, Low Road (Terrington St. John, Marshland St. James, Tilney St. Lawrence). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

WALPOLE HIGHWAY – Mill Road from its junction with Lynn Road for 125m northwards to facilitate patching works from 28th July to 1st August 2025 (may continue until 12th September 2025). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, Lynn Road, West Drove North, Walnut Road (Walpole Highway, Walpole). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction whenever earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
