COSTESSEY – Poethlyn Drive from its junction with Ringland Lane for 530 metres westwards owing to works nearby and to ensure access out of the estate. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 20th July 2025 that the existing bus lane on the Road will be temporarily suspended to allow all types of vehicular traffic to use the Road from 26th July to 3rd August 2025 (previously 21st to 25th July 2025) (may continue until 14th September 2025). The suspension of the bus lane on the Road will only have effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of on-site signs. Traffic must follow the direction of travel as indicated on the Road when directed by an Authorised Martial. While this Order is in force, the Norfolk County Council (Costessey, Poethlyn Drive) (Bus Lane) Order 2015 shall be suspended. An ‘Authorised Martial’ is a person authorised by Norfolk County Council to monitor and ensure the safe enforcement of the effect of this Order. Alternative route is via: N/A. Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction whenever earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
