What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF LAXFIELD) (WOODBRIDGE) (BICKERS HILL ROAD) (C516) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

On 23/07/2025 Suffolk County Council made the above-named Order for the Parish of Laxfield, under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The effect of this is to introduce:

A 30-mph speed limit:

? on (C516) Bickers Hill Road, from a point 469 metres north-east of the junction with (B1117) Vicarage Road, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 147 metres.

A copy of the order which comes into effect on 28/07/2025 may be seen with advance notice at the address below from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and also at Woodbridge Library, New Street, Woodbridge, IP12 1DT Monday; 10am - 5pm, Tuesday; 9am - 6.30pm Wednesday - Thursday; 9am - 5.30pm, Friday; 9am - 7pm, Saturday; 9am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm (excluding bank holidays and public holidays).

If anyone wishes to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any of the requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it have not been complied with in relation to the order, they may within six weeks of the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
