What is happening?

South Lanarkshire Council 

Glasgow Road, Nerston Village, East Kilbride Temporary Restriction to Speed of Road Order No 1. 2025 

On 11/07/25 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 88 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will restrict the limit to 30mph on A749 Glasgow Road from Stewartfield Way to 100m north of Nerston Road. The Order will be in operation from 11/08/25 until 31/08/25.
