South Street, Andover, Test Valley - Temporary Road & Footpath Closure due to new foul drainage sewer and mains connection

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD & FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of South Street between its junction with Savoy Close and its junction with West Brook Close. 
DURATION OF ORDER: from Friday 15th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and in operation 24 hours a day). 
The Temporary Road & Footpath Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Clanville Draintech Limited to carry out excavation to install new foul drainage sewer connection and mains water supplies.
