What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE, LLANMADOC (FOOTPATH 4) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order. The effect of such Order is as shown in the Schedule below. 

The closure is required to allow dead or dying ash trees to be felled.

SCHEDULE Footpath 4. The whole footpath through Cwm Ivy woods from its junction with footpath 1 near Pill House westwards to the junction with the road at Cwm Ivy.

The closure will operate from 1st September 2025 for a period of 17 weeks or, if completed earlier, when the works are completed.
