London Road & Mill Road, Havant - Temporary Suspension Of Right-hand Turn & Temporary Suspension Of Bus & Cycle Lane due to utility works

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE SUSPENDED: To suspend the right-hand turn from London Road turning right into Mill Road and to suspend the right-hand turn from Mill Road turning right into London Road.
LANE TO BE SUSPENDED: To suspend the bus and cycle lane on London Road from a point 45 metres southwest from Mill Road and continuing to a point 130 metres southwest on London Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mill Road, Cunningham Road, Corbett Road, Gordon Road, Corbett Road, London Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 11th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 month and in operation 24 hours a day). 
The temporary right-hand suspension and bus and cycle lane suspension has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Kamm Civil Engineering ltd to complete utility works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: lee@kammce.co.uk
