Tukes Avenue, Gosport - Temporary Footpath Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Tukes Avenue between its junction with Pettycot Crescent and its junction with Wych Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Tukes Avenue, Brookers Lane, Wych Lane. DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 11th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Footpath Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect IT Utility Services to complete electrical utility works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: nrswa@cius.co.uk
