Dashwoods Lane, Bicknoller - Temporary Closure due to pole replacement works
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Dashwoods Lane - from the junctions with Honey Row Lane and Trendle Lane to the junction with Gatchells Lane. A total distance of 131 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works. The Order becomes effective on 1st August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 6th August 2025 and last until 8th August 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days.
