Crowcombe Road, Crowcombe - Temporary Closure due to water connection works
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Crowcombe Road - from the junction with
Crowcombe Hill Road, northwards for a total distance of 75 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 1st August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 4th August
2025 and last until 8th August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days. Please visit https://one.network/?tm=144043952 for further information on the alternative route.
