TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLEWAY ST STEPHEN 65

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway St Stephen 65, from its junction toward Smug Oak Lane, for an approximate distance of 30m.

Alternative Route via Smug Oak Lane, Radlett Road and Moor Mill Lane.

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

The section of Bridleway St Stephen 65 will be closed on or after 04 August 2025 for up to 2 days, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN SOUTHDOWN ROAD AND ARDEN GROVE, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), and to prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Southdown Road, Harpenden from its junction with Bull Road north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 205m.

An alternative route will be via Bull Road, A1081 St Albans Road, B652 Station Road and Arden Grove.

2. that length of Arden Grove, Harpenden from its junction with Southdown Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 84m.

An alternative route will be via Arden Grove, Bull Road, A1081 St Albans Road, B652 Station Road and Southdown Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A4147 CATHERINE STREET, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A4147 Catherine Street, St Albans from its junction with Adelaide Street north westwards to its junction with Bernard Street, a distance of approximately 86m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A4147 Catherine Street, A1081 (St Peters Street and Verulam Road), Batchwood Drive, A5183 (Redbourn Road/Folly Lane) and A4147 (Folly Lane/Catherine Street).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months, however the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CAMP ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER NO.2 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the northbound carriageway of Camp Road, St Albans from its junction with Breakspear Avenue north westwards to its junction with B691 Stagon Road, a distance of approximately 166m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Camp Road, Cell Barnes Lane, Drakes Drive, Ashley Road, A1057 Hatfield Road and Camp Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN ALDENHAM, BUSHEY, LETCHMORE HEATH AND RADLETT DURING THE ‘JANMASHTAMI FESTIVAL’) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access:

(a) that length of Primrose Lane, Aldenham from its junction with B462 Radlett Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Summerhouse Lane, a distance of approximately 518m.

(b) that length of The Spinney, Aldenham from its junction with Primrose Lane westwards for its entire length.

(c) that length of Round Bush Lane, Aldenham from its junction with B462 Radlett Road south eastwards to its junction with Primrose Lane, a distance of approximately 196m.

(d) that length of Sandy Lane, Bushey from its junction with A41 Tylers Way south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Little Bushey Lane, a distance of approximately 330m.

(e) that length of Hilfield Lane, Bushey from its junction with B462 Radlett Road south eastwards to its junction with A41 Tylers Way, a distance of approximately 3092m.

(f) that length of Aldenham Road, Letchmore Heath from its junction with Butterfly Lane north westwards to its junction with The Green, a distance of approximately 1472m.

(g) that length of The Green, Letchmore Heath from its junction with Aldenham Road northwards to its junction with Grange Lane, a distance of approximately 274m.

(h) that length of Back Lane, Letchmore Heath from its junction with Aldenham Road north westwards to its junction with Common Lane, a distance of approximately 217m.

i) that length of Common Lane, Letchmore Heath/Radlett from its junction with Grange Lane north eastwards to its junction with The Ridgeway, a distance of approximately 1040m.

j) that length of Back Lane, Letchmore Heath from its northernmost junction with The Green north eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m.

There are no alternative routes for access in these roads will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the event.

2. To prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of Grange Lane, Letchmore Heath from its junction with Summerhouse Lane south eastwards to its junction with Common Lane, a distance of approximately 623m, when signs are in place.

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of B462 Radlett Road, Aldenham from its junction with New Road south westwards to its junction with Highfield Lane, a distance of approximately 2078m, when signs are in place.

4. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from A41 Tylers Way into Hilfield Lane, Bushey, when signs are in place.

5. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Hilfield Lane into A41 Tylers Way, Bushey, when signs are in place.

The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent traffic congestion for the duration of the ‘Janmashtami Festival’.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WALLINGFORD WALK, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wallingford Walk, St Albans from its junction with Abbots Avenue north westwards for a distance of approximately 43m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Abbots Avenue, Trumpington Drive and Wallingford Walk.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HARDWICKE PLACE, LONDON COLNEY) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hardwicke Place, London Colney from a point 43m south east of its junction with St Annes Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIAR ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Briar Road, St Albans from a point 26m south east of its junction with The Ridgeway south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Briar Road, The Ridgeway, Barnfield Road, Ardens Way and Briar Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WESTFIELD ROAD, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Westfield Road, Harpenden from its junction with Baulk Close north eastwards to its junction with B653 Lower Luton Road, a distance of approximately 65m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Westfield Road, Sun Lane, Carlton Road, B652 Station Road and B653 Lower Luton Road.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN CHISWELL GREEN AND PARK STREET) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:–

1. the Tippendell Lane roundabout, Chiswell Green from its junction with A405 North Orbital Road clockwise for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via A405 North Orbital Road, A414 (unnamed road), the M1, A414 Breakspear Way, the Green Lane roundabout, the M1 and A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road)

or via A405 North Orbital Road, A5183 Watling Street, B4630 Watford Road roundabout, and A405 North Orbital Road.

2. that length of A405 North Orbital Road, Chiswell Green from its junction with the A5183 Watling Street/A414 North Orbital Road roundabout south westwards to its junction with the B4630 Watford Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 1922m.

An alternative route will be via A414 (unnamed road), the M1, A414 Breakspear Way, the Green Lane roundabout, the M1 and A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road)

or via A405 North Orbital Road, A5183 Watling Street and B4630 Watford Road.

3. that length of Park Street Lane, Park Street and Tippendell Lane, Park Street/Chiswell Green from its junction with A5183 Park Street south westwards and north westwards to its junction with B4630 Watford Road, a distance of approximately 1715m.

An alternative route will be via A5183 Watling Street, A414 (unnamed road), the M1, A414 Breakspear Way, the Green Lane roundabout, the M1, A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road) and B4630 Watford Road

or via A5183 Watling Street and B4630 Watford Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

An alternative route will be via Cambridge Road, Sutton Road, Hedley Road, Ashley Road and Cambridge Road

or via Cambridge Road, Camp View Road, Camp Road, Ashley Road and Cambridge Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 31 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:

1. that length of Meadow Walk, Harpenden from its junction with Crabtree Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 24m.

An alternative route will be via Crabtree Lane, Topstreet Way, Piggotts Hill Lane, Barnfield Road and Meadow Walk

or via Crabtree Lane, Southdown Road, Piggotts Hill Lane, Barnfield Road and Meadow Walk.

2. the southbound carriageway of Crabtree Lane, Harpenden from a point 20m north east of its junction with Meadow Walk south westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.

An alternative route will be via Crabtree Lane, Topstreet Way, Piggotts Hill Lane, Southdown Road and Crabtree Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grove Avenue, Harpenden from its junction with Meadway north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Grove Road, a distance of approximately 510m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Meadway, Sibley Avenue and Grove Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
