ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

PUBLIC FOOTPATH 30

(EXTENDING BETWEEN BOURNE VIEW AND LONGWOOD ROAD, KENLEY) INCLUDING THE FOOTPATH LEVEL CROSSING TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by Network Rail to install a warning light system and audible alarm on the footpath level crossing, they intend to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Public Footpath No.30 (extending between Bourne View and Longwood Road, Kenley).

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Public Footpath 30 will be closed either side of the footpath level crossing.

  3. During the closure, the alternative route for pedestrians will be via Valley Road (towards Kenley Station), across the railway line via Haynes Lane road-over-rail bridge, and south on the A22, Godstone Road.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025 and will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced if further work is necessary.

  5. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anyone carrying out the said work, or to anything done for police, ambulance, or fire brigade purposes or with the permission of or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

BRIGHTON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Brighton Road, South Croydon.

  2. During the work the cycle lane on the west side of Brighton Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 110 and 112 Brighton Road and the common boundary of Gardiner Court, Nos. 118 - 124 Brighton Road and No. 126 Brighton Road.

  3. Whilst the closure remains in force cyclists will be required to dismount and use the footway.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 24 August 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The Prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

  5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

HERMITAGE ROAD, KENLEY

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to replace the Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) on an existing speed hump with tiles, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Hermitage Road, Kenley.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Hermitage Road will be closed between its junctions with Chevening Road and Wickes Way.

  3. During the closure traffic will be diverted via the alternative routes below.

    • Via Central Hill, Westow Hill, Church Road, Beulah Hill and vice versa.

    • Via Central Hill, Crown Dale, Beulah Hill and vice versa.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 07 August 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

  5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) A vehicle involved in the said work.

    (b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

IMPERIAL WAY, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to a metered water supply on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Imperial Way, Croydon

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking on both sides of the road outside No. 10 Imperial Way will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.

  3. The Order will come into operation on 14 August 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 22 August 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

  4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) A vehicle involved in the said work,

    (b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

  5. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

SOAK'D PINEAPPLE X SANDA ULTRA WEEKEND EVENT – ADDINGTON PARK ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Soak’d Pineapple X Sanda Ultra Weekend event in Addington Park, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close roads as specified in Schedule 1 and suspend parking as detailed in the Schedule 2 to this Notice.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 16 August 2025 and will remain in force for two days.

  3. Access will be maintained for residents (except for closure No.5 in the table below). This exemption will be supervised during the event.

  4. The alternative route for traffic in relation to the closure of The Crossways and all incoming traffic at the junction with Seldon Park Road will be via Seldson Park Road and Gravel Hill.

  5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) A vehicle involved in the said work,

    (b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

  4. The Crossways – closed at its junction with Gravel Hill

  5. The Crossways – closed to all incoming traffic from its junction with Selsdon Park Road

  6. Fullers Wood – entire road closed

  8. Featherbed Lane access road closed (fronting Nos. 1 to 38 Featherbed Lane)

  9. Falconwood Road – entire road closed

SCHEDULE 2 - PARKING SUSPENDED – TEMPORARY WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS IN FORCE “AT ANY TIME”

  1. Gravel Hill Slip Road (fronting Nos. 3 to 45) both sides of the road

  2. Kent Gate Way – the north-east side from Gravel Hill up to and including the Roundabout at the junction of Lodge Lane

  3. Lodge Lane, between the roundabout at the junction with Kent Gate Way and its junction with Addington Village Road,

  4. Addington Village Road – both sides leading to Spout Hill from the Roundabout at the junction of Lodge Lane,

  5. Spout Hill – both sides between Addington Village Road and No. 17 Spout Hill

  6. Addington Village Road – Addington Park Side only between the south-western extremity of the road and the junction with the Roundabout at Lodge Lane,

  7. Addington Village Road – both sides between the junctions with the Roundabout at Lodge Lane and The Paddocks

  8. Roxton Gardens – both sides south-westward for 10 metres from the junction with Spout Hill

  9. Gravel Hill Slip Road – both sides between the western boundary of Addington Palace Golf Club House and the exit on to Gravel Hill

  10. Selsdon Park Road – from Gravel Hill to Featherbed Lane

  11. Featherbed Lane from Selsdon Park Road to Court Wood Lane
