What is happening?

London Borough of Harrow

The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No. 146) Traffic Order 2025

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow on 23rd July 2025 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 45, 46 and 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

  2. The general effect of the Order will be to:

    a) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions in certain lengths of the carriageway as detailed in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and,

    b) to introduce single yellow line waiting restriction at certain lengths of the carriageway at detailed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

  3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 1st August 2025 and of relevant previous Orders can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays.

  4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

George V Avenue(i) the north-east side of the main carriageway, opposite Nos. 28 and 30;

(ii) the south-west side of the north-westernmost service road, opposite No. 28;

(iii) the south-west side of the main carriageway, opposite Nos. 53 and 55; and

(iv) the north-east side of the south-westernmost service road, opposite No. 55.

Honeypot Lanethe south-west side of the south-westernmost service road, outside Nos. 291 to 205.
Hutton Lanethe west side:

(i) at its junction with Mepham Crescent; and

(ii) at its junction with Langton Road.

(iii) the south side, at the junction of Tintagel Drive leading to Nos. 10 to 14.

Stanmore Hill(i) the east side, outside Nos. 160 and 162; and

(ii) the west side, outside No. 181.

The Common(i) the east side, opposite ‘Heathside’, No. 195 and Lancaster House.

(ii) the west side, outside ‘Heathside’, No. 195 and Lancaster House.

St Kilda’s Road(i) the east side, at its junction with Oakley Road;

(ii) the east side, outside Nos. 25 and 27;

(iii) the west side, at its junction with Oakley Road; and

(iv) the west side, outside Nos. 38 and 40.

Oakley Roadthe south side, at its junction with St Kilda’s Road.
Woodlands Drive(i) the east side, at its junction with Gordon Avenue;

(ii) the east side, outside Nos. 36 to 40;

(iii) the west side, at its junction with Gordon Avenue; and

(iv) the west side, opposite Nos. 28 to 36.

Coppice Closethe south side, adjacent to No. 43 Woodlands Drive and outside Nos. 1 and 2.
Gordon Avenuethe north side, at its junction with Woodlands Drive.
