What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

THE BARNET (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose

to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

1. In order to deter obstructive parking, improve sightlines and road safety, the general effect of the above Orders would be to:

(a) upgrade the existing length of waiting restriction operating 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday situated opposite Nos.1 to 12 Sheringham Court, Dollis Road N3 to operate "At any time".

(b) convert the existing resident permit holder only parking bay situated opposite No. 1 to 12 Sheringham Court, Dollis Road N3 operating 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday into a length of waiting restriction operating "At any time".

Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 28 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 3rd Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection/ comments, and quoting reference number SCR663 Dollis Road (RSE012), to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of this Notice.
