What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20
SECTION 90A HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
In order to deter obstruction, improve traffic flow, improve sightlines and road safety, the general effect of the Free Order would be to introduce new lengths of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at the following locations:
(a) Extend the existing waiting restrictions outside No.34 Decoy Avenue NW11, by approximately 5 metres.
(b) Extend the existing waiting restrictions outside No.31 Decoy Avenue NW11, by approximately 3.5 metres.
(c) Extend the existing waiting restrictions on Decoy Avenue NW11 (side of No.110 Bridge Lane) by approximately 5.5 metres.
(d) Outside Nos.7 to 11 Decoy Avenue approximately 21 metres in length.
(e) Outside Nos.12 to14 Decoy Avenue approximately 21 metres in length.
FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that the London Borough of Barnet in exercise of powers conferred by Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 proposes to introduce raised tables as follows:

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 28 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 3rd Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR665 (RSE665) Decoy Avenue NW11 to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of this Notice.
