Brent, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

MONTPELIER RISE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a pole replacement and associated works in Montpelier Rise, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit:

a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Montpelier Rise, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 74 and 76 Montpelier Rise and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Rise;

b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the western footway of Montpelier Rise, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 74 and 76 Montpelier Rise and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Rise;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply on 8th August 2025 only.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Montpelier Rise would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
