Carey Way, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Electrical Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

CAREY AVENUE, WEMBLEY

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate access to electrical connection and associated works in Carey Avenue, Wembley, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to: -

a) prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Carey Avenue, Wembley, which lies between a point opposite the north-eastern kerb-line of South Way and a point 25.00 metres north-west of that kerb-line;

b) suspend the one-way working in Carey Avenue, Wembley, to allow traffic to proceed in both directions;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions and suspension referred to in (a) and (b) above will apply between 5th August 2025 and 9th August 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Carey Avenue, Wembley will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions and suspension referred to in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
