TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1122 ABBEY ROAD, LEISTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1122 Abbey Road, Leiston from the junction with Carr Avenue to the junction with Lovers Lane to facilitate installation of a foul gravity sewer connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1119, the B1121, the A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/07/2025 - 28/07/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U5312 WETHERUP STREET, WETHERINGSETT CUM BROCKFORD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5312 Wetherup Street, Wetheringsett cum Brockford from 370 metres northeast of the junction with Park Green for 50 metres north eastbound to facilitate an excavation to install and disconnect underground electrical cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Park Green, Station Road, Hockey Hill, Church Street, Dale Hill, Violet Hill, Pitmans Corner, Blacksmiths Green, White Horse Corner, Mill Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 05/08/2025 - 11/08/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
• U2025 Benacre Road, Ipswich from Clapgate Lane to Norman Crescent
• U2023 Avondale Road, Ipswich from no. 62 to no. 68
• U2026 Norman Crescent, Ipswich from Benacre Road to no. 38
• U2025 Benacre Road, Ipswich from Norman Crescent to Nacton Road
• U2024 Fairfield Road, Ipswich from Benacre Road to no. 1
• U2028 Gloucester Road, Ipswich from Benacre Road to no. 2.
This is to facilitate gas replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
• Benacre Road and Norman Crescent: Clapgate Lane, Powling Road, Nacton Road and vice versa
• Avondale Road: Fairfield Road and vice versa

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 32, Stowupland from the junction with Hornbeam Road for 78 metres eastbound to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Hornbeam Road, Footpath 61, Thorney Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/08/2025 - 08/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2109 New Street, Framlingham from 60 metres south of the junction with the B1119 for 40 metres southbound to facilitate the disconnection of an electrical overhead cable. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1119, the B1116, Brook Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 04/08/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• C945 Harrison Lane, Holton from the junction with Bungay Road for 180 metres northbound
• C944 Bungay Road, Holton from 440 metres north of the junction with Lodge Road for
325 metres northbound.
This is to facilitate a new sewer connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be The Street, Holton Road, Quay Street, Norwich Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/08/2025 - 15/08/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• U6202 Herringswell Road, Herringswell from the junction with The Street for 200 metres northbound.
This is to facilitate the installation of a new bus stop hard standings. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Herringswell Road, Tuddenham Road, High Street, Barton Mills Road, Tuddenham Road, the A11, Newmarket Road, Warren Road, Kennett Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 03/08/2025 from 12.30am - 7.30am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• A145 Halesworth Road, Blythburgh from the A145 to the B1123.
This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1123, the B1124, the A145 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/08/2025 - 06/08/2025 from 7pm - 5am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be The Street, Back Road, The Heath, Holton Road, Wenhaston with Mells Hamlet, the B1123 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/08/2025 - 06/08/2025 from 8am - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

This is to facilitate the diversion of a gas main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
