TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES AT BEECHWOOD AVENUE - MAIN ROAD AND JUNCTION AT GNOLL DRIVE AND WOODSIDE AVENUE JUNCTION, NEATH
NOTICE is hereby given that the Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council in pursuance of its powers as contained in Section 90A of the Highway Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intends to install Traffic Calming Measures in the form of:- Raised Speed Plateaux of such dimensions and situated at such locations as set out in the schedule below.
A copy of the draft Notice, plan and statement of reasons can be inspected on the Council’s Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros.
Any objections should be submitted in writing, setting out the reasons thereof, to reach the Head of Engineering and Transport, The Quays, Baglan Energy Park SA11 2GG by 19th August 2025.

SCHEDULE
Schedule 1 - Traffic Calming measures in the form of Raised Speed Plateaux (75 millimetres high)
Beechwood Avenue, Neath
1.1 Located on Beechwood Avenue and at the junctions of Beechwood Avenue and Gnoll Drive.
For clarification this will be incorporated into an active travel route linking the Neath Town Centre to Cefn Saeson Playing Fields.
