Cross Street - Temporary No Waiting And No Loading For A MEWP

TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000144462162: The City of Manchester (Cross Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary No waiting and No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to restrict vehicular traffic in the Loading Bay on Cross Street between St Anne Street and Market Street.
The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order to facilitate a MEWP.
It is expected that the works will be in progress on 12th August 2025 between 01:30hrs and 04:30hrs. The order shall come into operation on 12th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If the restriction ends within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
