GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL BUS LANE ORDER 2021 (HORNBEAM ROAD) (ASHCHURCH RURAL PARISH) (TEWKESBURY BOROUGH) (VARIATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council Bus Lane Order 2021 (“the Bus Lane Order”) by introducing the proposed Bus Gate detailed in the Schedule below:

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EWH28 AND PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS EWH6, EWH7, EWH8 (WHITMINSTER AND MORETON VALENCE PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Public Footpaths as detailed in the Schedule below;

Schedule

Part Public Footpath EWH 6 at a point approximately 60 metres south east from its junction with Public Bridleway EWH 4 extending in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 272 metres to its junction with EWH 7, Part of Public Footpath EWH 7 from its junction with Public Bridleway EWH 4 extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 613 metres to its junction with Whitminster Lane. Part Public Footpath EWH 8 from its junction with EWH 7 extending in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 262 metres. Public Footpath EWH 28 from its junction with Whitminster Lane extending in a generally southwest and western direction to its junction with Public Footpath EWH 22.

The said footpaths fall within the Parishes of Whitminster and Moreton Valence in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.

The said closures are necessary to protect the public whilst construction works relating to Planning Application S.21/0465/FUL are carried out.

The said footpaths were originally closed by an Order which commenced on 13th May 2024 and was subsequently extended until 13th August 2025. As works are still ongoing, the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension of the Order until 13th November 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. TEMPORARY CLOSURE 490497 IMPERIAL LANE (COLLEGE WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490497 Imperial Lane Road at a point outside of ‘Imperial Gate’ for a distance of approximately 10 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 4th August 2025 to 16:00hrs on 5th August 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
