What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(QUEEN STREET, EXETER) (NO. 3) ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING/LOADING & UNLOADING 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 18/8/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 29/8/25. No person shall except upon the direction or with permission of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load & unload at any time on any day on any of the lengths of road specified above. 

Roads affected: QUEEN STREET, EXETER, (FROM 83 QUEEN STREET TO 79 QUEEN STREET). THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: TRAIL EXCAVATION TO INSTALL A SIDE SHAFT. For additional information contact: FERNS GROUP LIMITED. Telephone: 01732442210

(GRACE ROAD CENTRAL, EXETER) (NO. 3) ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 28/7/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 14/8/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: GRACE ROAD CENTRAL, EXETER, FOOTWAY, CARRIAGEWAY, JUNC TRUSHAM ROAD. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - GRACE ROAD CENTRAL - HENNOCK ROAD NORTH - ALPHINBROOK ROAD - TRUSHAM ROAD - GRACE ROAD CENTRAL - VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: REPLACE 33.36M OF OLD METALLIC GAS MAINS WITH 33.36M OF NEW PLASTIC MAINS & RENEW/TRANSFER APPROX. 0 SERVICE PIPES TO ADJACENT PREMISES.
