RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darnau hynny o’r Ffyrdd Di-Ddosbarth a nodir isod.
1. Y Sgwâr, Blaenau Ffestiniog o bwynt ger Rhif 1 Y Sgwâr hyd at y gyffordd gyda Ffordd Wynne, Blaenau Ffestiniog.
2. Ffordd Newydd, Blaenau Ffestiniog o bwynt ger ei gyffordd gyda’r Sgwâr hyd at ei gyffordd gyda Ffordd Fynediad Gefn 26-32 Y Sgwâr, Blaenau Ffestiniog.
3. Ffordd Fynediad Gefn i 26-32 Y Sgwâr, Blaenau Ffestiniog yn ei gyfanrwydd.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith amnewid pibell nwy.

Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad deheuol ar Ffordd Dorvil a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda’r Sgwâr. Teithio ar y ffordd hon, yna Ffordd Wynne, mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol. Yn y gyffordd gyda Heol Wynne, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 20fed o Awst 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 18 diwrnod

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(UNCLASSIFIED ROADS KNOWN AS THE SQUARE, NEW ROAD AND THE REAR ACCESS ROAD TO 26-32 THE SQUARE, BLAENAU FFESTINIOG)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along those lengths of Unclassified Roads noted below.

1. The Square, Blaenau Ffestiniog from a point by No.1 The Square up to its junction with Wynne Road, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

2. New Road, Blaenau Ffestiniog from its junction with The Square up to its junction with the Rear Access Road to 26-32 The Square, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

3. The Rear Access Road to 26-32 The Square, Blaenau Ffestiniog in its entirety.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during works to replace a gas pipe.

The alternative route is via is to travel southerly on Dorvil Road then turn left at the junction with The Square. Travel on this road, then Wynne Road, in a south easterly direction. At the junction with Wynne Avenue, turn left to travel north easterly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order comes into effect on the 20th of August, 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 18 days.
