Ullingswick, Temporary Road Closure Due To Tree Trimming Works
What is happening?

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1118, Ullingswick, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1118, Ullingswick, outside Dora Cottage. Grid Ref: 359536/249510.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1117 onto the A465 onto the A417 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to tree trimming works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day (9.00-15.00).
