NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Pound Lane, Sutton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1210

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Pound Lane, Sutton as lies between Nunns Way & B1381. The alternative route for vehicles is via Pound Ln; High St; B1381 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 8/8/25.

Hasse Road, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1211

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hasse Road, Soham as lies between Northfield Road & Hicks Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Hasse Rd; Long Dolver Drove; A142, Northfield Rd. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate reinstatement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 25/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 26/8 & 28/8/25.

Station Road B1102 & Mildenhall Road B1102, Isleham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1217

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road B1102 & Mildenhall Road B1102, Isleham as lies between No.22 & Station Road B1102; Mildenhall Road B1102 & Fordham Road B1102 respectively. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1102; A1101; A11; Newmarket Rd, Red Lodge; Turnpike Rd; Red Lodge Link Rd, Kennett; B1085; B1104 & vice versa alternatively B1104; Fordham Rd; Isleham Rd, Fordham; B1102 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/8 & 31/8/25.

Mepal Road, Witcham & Witcham Road, Mepal Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1219

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mepal Road, Witcham & Witcham Road, Mepal as lies between Hive Road & Mepal Footpath 10. The alternative route for vehicles is via The Slade; Witcham Rd; A142; Sutton Rd, Sutton; Mepal Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 8/8/25.

Great Fen Road, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1222

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Great Fen Road, Soham as lies between Nos. 16 & 26. The alternative route for vehicles is via Northfield Rd; A142; Stuntney Causeway, Ely; Queen Adelaide Way; B1382; B1104 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 6/8/25.

Lynn Road C315, Ely Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1248

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Lynn Road C315, Ely as lies between Number 11, Spring Cottage & Woodhouse Farm. The alternative route for vehicles is via Lynn Rd C315; Ely Rd, Littleport; Grange Rd; A10; B1411 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18/8 & 21/8/25.

Station Road, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1329

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Soham as lies between Bowling Street & Pratt Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via Station Rd, Churchgate St, Fountain Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate relocation air valve & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 6/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 5/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 6/8 & 8/8/25.

Badlingham Road, Chippenham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Order 2025-1355

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Badlingham Road, Chippenham as lies between Badlingham & Chippenham Footpath 7. The alternative route for vehicles is via New St; B1085; B1104; B1102; Elms Rd, Freckenham; Badlingham; Badlingham, Chippenham & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate reinstatement of access, drainage, carriageway repair & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 15/8/25.

Upton Lane, Littleport Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Order 2025-1438

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Upton Lane, Littleport as lies between High Street & Friars Nine. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway patching & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 23/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 22/2/2027 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23/8/25 & 23/8/26.

Various Roads, Soham (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025-1397

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate crack sealing & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2/8/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 1/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these orders are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
