CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(OAK CRESCENT, POTTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends
not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Oak Crescent, Potton outside number 3.
This temporary closure is required to enable new service installation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 18 August 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Oak Crescent, B1042 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the entire length of Park Lane, Henlow.
This temporary closure is required to enable surface dressing and road marking works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 13 to 29 August 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm and Saturdays between 8am and 1pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Church Road and High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 13 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(POTTON ROAD, BIGGLESWADE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Potton Road, Biggleswade outside Edward Peake Middle School.
This temporary closure is required to enable cut in connection and main laying for fire main works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 28 July to 8 August 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via B1040, B1042, Bedford Road, A1, A6001, B1040 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 28 July 2025 for a period of one month or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
