THE A47 TRUNK ROAD (TROWSE INTERCHANGE, NORWICH, NORFOLK) WESTBOUND LAYBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) has made an Order on the A47 Trunk Road in the County of Norfolk to enable the renewal of a Weather Station and associated works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to last for approximately 4 weeks starting on or after Sunday 3 August 2025.

The effect of the Order will be to close, for 24 hours daily, the layby adjacent to the westbound carriageway of the A47, situated approximately 1045 metres west of the entry slip road at Trowse Interchange.

The closure (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

The Order will come into force on 28 July 2025 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
