THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS

FOUNDRY STREET, ST HELENS

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LOADING BAY) (TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF SHARED USE PERMIT HOLDERS AND LOADING BAY) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council made an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be to:

    1. The lengths of road and restrictions specified in Schedule 1 to this Order are hereby suspended from Schedule 2 of The Council of the Borough of St Helens (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) Consolidation Order 2025.

    1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle other than a vehicle displaying a relevant permit (referenced PSMT) during the days and hours of operation of the shared use permit holders and loading bay as specified in Schedule 2 to this Order.

  1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle other than a vehicle requiring to load or unload goods to or from that vehicle during the days and hours of operation of the shared use permit holders and loading bay as specified in Schedule 3 to this Order.

SCHEDULE 3 - INTRODUCTION OF NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME

Foundry Street Service Road To Rear Of 2 To 10 Church Square West side a point 38 metres north of its junction with Foundry Street a point 53 metres north of its junction with Foundry Street All days 8pm - 8am the following day

 

This Order shall come into operation on the 28th July 2025 and shall continue for a maximum duration of 18 months or the earlier completion of the works proposed.

The reason for making this Order is to safely enable the town centre improvement works.
