Dover, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

 

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

DOVER AREA

 

Beacon Lane, Woodnesborough, CT13 0PP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beacon Lane, Woodnesborough, on or after 20th August 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Drainless Road and Beacon Hill Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Beacon Lane, Foxborough Hill, Drainless Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Cauldham Lane, Capel Le Ferne, CT18 7HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cauldham Lane, Capel Le Ferne, on or after 18th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Hurst Lane and Capel Street, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cauldham Lane, Hurst Lane, Capel Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Century Walk, Deal, CT14 7GD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Century Walk, Deal, on or after 22nd August 2025 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 13. The one-way Order will be suspended the entire length, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Century Walk, West Street, St Georges Road, St Andrews Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Cherry Lane, Great Mongeham, CT14 0HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cherry Lane, Great Mongeham, on or after 5th August 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Langdon House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cherry Lane, Northbourne Road, Mongeham Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Downs Road, East Studdal, CT15 5DD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Downs Road, East Studdal, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Whitehouse, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Downs Road, Stoneheap Road, Northbourne Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Eythorne Road, Shepherdswell, CT15 7PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eythorne Road, Shepherdswell, on or after 19th August 2025 for up to 26 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Penfold Gardens and Bernards Gardens, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Eythorne Road, Coxhill, A2 Dover Road, A2 Between Whitfield Roundabout And Junction With A256, A2 Dover Road Slip Eastbound Off, A256 Whitfield Bypass, A256 Whitfield By-pass From C227 Kennel Hill To C237 Venson Road, Barville Road, Wigmore Lane and Shepherdswell Road.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Shepherdswell Road, Wigmore Lane, Barville Road, A256 Whitfield By-pass From C227 Kennel Hill To C237 Venson Road, A256 Whitfield Bypass, A256 Link between Whitfield Interchange Roundabouts, A2 Dover Road Slip Westbound On, A2 Between Whitfield Roundabout And Junction With A256, A2 Dover Road, Coxhill and Eythorne Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Goodnestone Road, Chillenden, CT3 1PS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Goodnestone Road, Chillenden, on or after 6th August 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Ashcroft House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Goodnestone Road, Station Road, Short Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Gore Road, Eastry, CT13 0LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Gore Road, Eastry, on or after 18th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 15, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Gore Road, Gore Lane, Woodnesborough Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Lower Road, Temple Ewell, CT16 3EQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow bridge works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Road, Temple Ewell, on or after 18th August 2025 for up to 8 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the railway bridge, between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Road, High Street, London Road, Alkham Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Mantles Hill, Ripple, CT14 8JL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mantles Hill, Ripple, on or after 5th August 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Minnis, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mantles Hill, Mongeham Road, Chapel Lane, Church Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Moat Sole, Sandwich, CT13 9BP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Moat Sole, Sandwich, on or after 20th August 2025 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 25, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Moat Sole, Woodnesborough Road, St Barts Road, Dover Road, New Street and Cattle Market.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Cattle Market, Harnet Street, Strand Street, High Street, The Chain, Galliard Street, New Street, Dover Road, St Barts Road, Woodnesborough Road and Moat Sole.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Saunders Lane, Ash, CT3 2SH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Saunders Lane, Ash, on or after 5th August 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Sandwich Road and New Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandwich Road, Cherry Garden Lane, New Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Stockdale Gardens, Deal, CT14 9BW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stockdale Gardens, Deal, on or after 18th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 140, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stockdale Gardens, B2056 Hamilton Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Ware Road, Ware, CT3 2LZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ware Road, Ware, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The School House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ware Road, Wass Drove and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
