Dartford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
A206 Crossways Boulevard, Dartford, DA9 9BT (NO LEFT TURN & CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Uk Power Distribution Ltd works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily restrict traffic on part of A206 Crossways Boulevard, Dartford, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 49 days or until the works have been completed.
The left hand turn lane into Charles Street from A206 Crossways Boulevard shall be temporarily prohibited and the cycle lane will be suspended between Quadrant Court and Charles Street.
The diversion route is via Station approach roundabout and A206 Crossways Boulevard.
B262 Sandbanks Hill, Darenth, DA2 8EH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the rebuilding of the property wall, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B262 Sandbanks Hill, Darenth, on or after 18th August 2025 for up to 5 days between 09.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Bretia.
The alternative route is via B262 Sandbanks Hill, B255 Highcross Road/Whitehill Road, B260 Green Street Green Road and vice versa.
Bob Dunn Way, Stone, DA1 5TA (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council has made an Order for a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30mph to be imposed on part of Bob Dunn Way, Stone, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 89 days or until the works have been completed.
The 30mph speed limit applies eastbound between Marsh Road North Roundabout and Rennie Drive.
Chastilian Road & North Road, Dartford, DA1 3PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND 5T WEIGHT LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of gas mains replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chastilian Road, Dartford, on or after 18th August 2025 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Station Road and Heath Road. The 5T Weight Limit will be suspended on North Road.
The alternative route is via Chastilian Road, B2174 Princes Road, A226/A207 Crayford Road, Station Road and vice versa.
Riverside Way, Dartford, DA1 5WR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of footway reconstruction works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Riverside Way, Dartford, on or after 4th August 2025 until 3rd October 2025 between 19.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
