Eastnor, Temporary Speed Restriction Due To Event

What is happening?

Notice of Making

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A438 from the A449 to Hollybush, Eastnor, Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025, to temporarily re-strict the speed of vehicles to 30mph on the following road(s): A438 from the A449 to Hollybush. Grid Ref: 372143,238463 to 374183,236883.

The said restriction is required due to safety of motorist's access and egress to Lakefest event on or near said roads and the likelihood of danger to the public while works are being carried out. The said restriction will be in place for approximately 6 days and will come into force on 6th August 2025. However, the restriction may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State).
