NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Bexton Road, Knutsford

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Bexton Road, Knutsford

– From the junction of Meadow Drive to the junction of Cranford Avenue.

The alternative route will be via Bexton Road, Blackhill Lane, Bexton Lane, Toft Road, King Edward Road, Stanley Road which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 11 August 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 6 October 2025.
