What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C278 BOXWELL ROAD (BOXWELL LEIGHTERTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C278 Boxwell Road from its junction with the A46 to its junction with Tetbury Lane for a distance of approximately 800 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for kerbing works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 30th July 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency and pedestrian access will not be maintained due to the works taking place in a narrow lane.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401508 GARDEN COTTAGE TO MINCHINHAMPTON LANE (AVENING PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401508 Garden Cottage to Minchinhampton Lane Road from its junction with the A4135 to its junction with Washpool Hill for a distance of approximately 130 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for BT pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 30th July 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C152 ROAD FROM ABLINGTON ROAD TO POTLUCKER LANE (BIBURY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C152 Road from Ablington Road to Potluckker Lane near Bibury Village Street near the War Memorial for a distance of approximately 185 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for electrical installation works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 28th July 2025 until 15th August 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C179 ROAD FROM WICKWALKER LANE TO CERNEY WICK LANE (SOUTH CERNEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C179 Road from Wickwalker Lane to Cerney Wick Lane from a point outside the property known as “Broadway” to a point known as “Deershurst” for a distance of approximately 75 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Network Plus.

The said road is expected to be closed from 11th August or 12th August 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401462 ROAD FROM VILLAGE GREEN TO TARTLTON CHURCH (KEMBLE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401462 Road from Village Green to Tarlton Church from outside the property known as No. 70 to the property known as No. 68 for a distance of approximately 36 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for new water connection works.

NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NDM 3(PART) (PARISH OF DIDMARTON) DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above Order made on 15th July 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed, will divert the length of public footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule below to a line described in Part 2. A copy of the Order and plan may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Cotswold District Council, Council Offices, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire GL7 1PX. Copies of the Order and plan may be obtained free of charge by emailing row@gloucestershire.gov.uk (please quote reference NDM3/KM). Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Public Rights of Way, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG (email: prow@gloucestershire.gov.uk) not later than 21st August 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. (Please quote reference NDM3/KM).

Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may be made available for public inspection.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Gloucestershire County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

SCHEDULE

PART 1 Description of Path to be extinguished

That length of footpath NDM 3A runs from point A at OSGR ST8102/8996 in a southeasterly direction for 417 metres to point B at OSGR ST8137/8981 continuing to point D which is between points D-C by 3m, 3metres D-E.

PART 2 Description of new path

A length of footpath that runs from point A in a southeasterly direction for 417 metres to point B, and with a width of 2metres A-F, 3metres F-I, 1.1metre I-J, 2.5metres J-E
