TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC144468580: The City of Manchester (Various Streets, Piccadilly Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic, No Waiting No Loading & Suspension/ Closure of Bus Lane) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Oldham Road, Thompson Street, Rochdale Road & Ludgate Hil. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate adjacent carriageway improvement scheme. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 28th July 2025 to 14th November 2025 - Not affecting all streets at the same time. The order shall come into operation on 28th July 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
