Proposed Order: To close that part of C2056 Rebecca Rd from its junction with C2100 Besford Rd to its junction with U47624 Crabble Ln.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

(U51024 Mayfield Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and

(One-Way Traffic) Order 2002 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51024 Mayfield Rd from its junction with B4550 Astwood Rd to its junction with U51026 Church Rd, and to temporarily suspend The Worcestershire County Council (Mayfield Road, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2002 to allow two-way traffic to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of this order.

Reason: Dropped kerb by new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Reason: Footway widening, relocation of lighting columns and pedestrian crossing by WCC.

Order made: To close that section of Closure 1 – A38 Clifton from its junction with U62021 Clifton Ln to its junction with A38 Main Rd. Closure 2 – A38 Main Road from its junction with A38 Clifton to its junction with U60011 Drichtwich Rd.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing over multiple phases by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford from its junction with C2064 Suckley Rd for a distance of 250 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Pole renewal by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2064 Suckley Rd, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064 Ashfields, C2245 Hopton Ln, C2065 Hopton Ln to Brockamin, C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford and vice versa.

**Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Various Roads, Abberley) (30 Mph and 40 Mph Speed Limit)

(Revocation and Proposal) Order 2025**

On 10 July 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to adjust the speed limit on the following lengths of road in Abberley to 30 and 40 miles per hour:

30 Miles Per Hour

A443: From a point 375 metres west of its junction with C2230 (The Common) in an easterly direction to a point 100 metres southeast of that junction.

C2230: From a point 90 metres north of its junction with C2071 in a southerly direction to a point 215 metres north of its junction with A443.

40 Miles Per Hour

A443: From a point 100 metres southeast of its junction with C2230 (The Common) in a generally southerly direction to a point 185 metres north of its junction with B4203.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 31 July 2025.

**(A38 Main Road, Kempsey) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) and

the Worcestershire County Council (A38 Kempsey to Severn Stoke)

(30,40 and 50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 (Variation) Order 2025**

Proposed Order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A38 Main Rd from its junction with U60013 Windmill Ln to its junction with C2056 The Knapp, to ensure the Worcestershire County Council (A38 Kempsey to Severn Stoke) (30,40 and 50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 is hereby varied as described for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Development works by Walsh Construction Ltd.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 46 days. Commencing:

18 August 2025.

(Footpath WR-946, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close Footpath WR-946, Worcester over the Oil Basin Bridge from the riverside path to Diglis Dock Road, grid refs: 384788.65, 253569.06 to 384788.65, 253569.06. Or in the opposite direction.

The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Basin Road U52297, Diglis Dock Road U52298 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 8 July 2025.

(Bridleways BD-612, Drakes Broughton and Wadborough, BQ-501, 503, 504, Besford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: to close to horses: Bridleways BD-612 in Drakes Broughton and Wadborough, BQ-501, BQ503 and BQ-504 in Besford for their entirety.

To close to pedestrians Bridleways BD- 612 in Drakes Broughton and Wadborough and BQ-501 in Besford for their entirety.

The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route for equestrian use.

For pedestrians – Pirton footpath PT-557, Sidings Road C2109 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 3 July 2025.

(Bridleway SO-552, Stanford with Orleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 19 January 2023 the effect of which is to close that part of Bridleway SO-552, Stanford with Orleton, from its junction with the unclassified road between Stanford with Orleton and Little Hereford to its junction with the Orleton Bridleway SO-551 from 27 July 2025 has been extended in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport under Section 15(5) of the Highways Act 1980 until such time as the works it relates have been completed or until 27 July 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made as a result of a collapsed bridge.
