Osborne Road West - Prohibition All Vehicular Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(BACK OSBORNE ROAD WEST) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on Back Osborne Road West:
i.) between its junctions with Acorn Road and Mistletoe Road.
ii) between its junctions with Mistletoe Road and Back Mistletoe Road South.
2. There is no alternative route for traffic.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 4 September 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 5 September 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
