Mandarin Close - Prohibition All Pedestrian Traffic Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(MANDARIN CLOSE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on
i) Section 1: 45 Mandarin Close - side of 22 Malaga Close.
ii) Section 2: side of 31 Madeira Close - c/o 20 Malaga Close.
iii) Section 3: c/o 31 Madeira Close - 41 Mandarin Close.
iv) Section 4: 19 Malaga Close - 25 Mangrove Close.
v) Section 5: 25 Malaga Close.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for personnel engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 2 September 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 17 November 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
