Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U47212 Main Street, Wick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U47212 Main St from its junction with U47210 Cooks Hill to its junction with U47213 School Ln.

Reason: Drainage work and flood alleviation by WCC.

Alternative route: U47212 Main St (part), U47210 Cooks Hill, B4084 Evesham Rd, U47214 Timber Ln, U47212 Main St (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 28 July 2025.

(U47115 Cherry Orchard, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U47115 Cherry Orchard from its junction with U47113 Apple Tree Rd to its junction with U47116 Whitcroft Rd.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by STW.

Alternative route: U47115 Cherry Orchard (part), U47116 Whitcroft Rd, A4104 Station Rd, U47113 Apple Tree Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 29 July 2025.

(C2008 Back Lane to Pershore Road, Great Comberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2008 Back Ln to Pershore Rd from its junction with U46615 Back Ln for a distance of 140 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by Wales & West Utilities Ltd.

Alternative route: C2008 Back Ln to Pershore Rd (part), C2008 Hollands Rd, B4080 Tewkesbury Rd, B4080 Pershore Rd, B4080 Ekington Rd, A4104 Defford Rd, A4104 Three Springs Rd, A4104 Worcester Rd, B4084 High St, B4084 Bridge St, C2007 Goodleigh Hill, C2008 Pershore Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 18 August 2025.

(U47029 Farleigh Road, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47029 Farleigh Rd from its junction with U47031 Fulbert Rd to its junction with U47030 St Andrews Rd.

Reason: Dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U47031 Fulbert Rd, U47030 Abbots Rd, U47030 St Andrews Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 19 August 2025.

(C2009 Shinehill Lane, South Littleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2009 Shinehill Ln from its junction with U45024 Clevedon Green to its junction with U45046 Orchard Cl.

Reason: Kerb replacement, footway resurfacing, tactile paving and carriageway resurfacing by Markey Construction Ltd.

Alternative route: C2009 Blacksmiths Ln, B4085 Main St, B4085 Cleeve Rd, C2114 Arrow Ln, C2114 Blakes Hill, C2006 Buckle St, C2009 Shinehill Rd, C2009 Shinehill Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 28 July 2025.

Order made: To close that part of C2048 Willersey Rd from its junction with C2048 Golden Ln to its junction with U45221 Pear Tree Ln.

Reason: New customer connection by STW.

Alternative route: C2120 Millersby Rd, C2120 Bowers Hill into Gloucestershire, B4035 Weston Rd, B4035 New St, B4035 Main St, B4035 Bretforton Rd, B4035 Badsey Rd, C2048 Synehurst, C2048 High St, C2048 Golden Ln (part), C2120 Willersey Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 28 July 2025.

(U44221 Paynes Lane, Fladbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U44221 Paynes Ln from its junction with U44220 Lazy Ln for a distance of 164 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Airband Community Internet Ltd.

Alternative route: No diversion as this road is a no through road.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 August 2025.

(U45219 School Lane, Bretforton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U45219 School Ln from its junction with B4035 New St to its junction with U45216 Main St.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: B4035 New St, B4035 Shop Ln, U45216 Main St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 30 July 2025.

(C2222 Walcot Lane, Pinvin, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2222 Walcot Ln from its junction with B4083 Station Rd for a distance of 400 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: To remove broken basketry, weeds, matters and signage work at the Ford by WCC.

Alternative route: B4083 Station Rd, B4083 Terrace Rd, A44 Allens Hill, A44 Worcester Rd, C2115 Pershore Rd, C2222 Walcot Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 18 August 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpath PB-555, Pebworth) (Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Order made: To close Footpath PB-555, Pebworth for its entire length.

The Order has been made due to a collapsed bridge.

Reason: To permit access to land and premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the bridge will not be operative for 6 months commencing on 7 July 2025.
