(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of First Avenue, Poulton Le Fylde from its junction to Lower Green to outside property number 28 First Avenue.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0800 hours on Monday 30th June 2025 until 1700 hours on Friday 18th July 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Vehicular access for residents will be maintained whenever and wherever possible. Emergency services access will be maintained whenever and wherever possible. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
5. No diversion available due to the location of the works
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow gas mains replacement works to be carried out.

(TEMPORARY AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
The Lancashire County Council (“the County Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (the Act), and of all other enabling powers, HEREBY makes the following Order:-
The Lancashire County Council (First Avenue, Poulton Le Fylde, Wyre Borough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025, is hereby temporarily Amended in that:
i. To amend Article 3 as follows:
The prohibition will be operative from 1700 hours on Friday 18th July 2025 until 1700 hours on Friday 25th July 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
This Temporary Amendment Order shall come into operation on Friday 18th July 2025 and may be cited as “The Lancashire County Council (First Avenue, Poulton Le Fylde, Wyre Borough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025 (Temporary Amendment) Order 2025”
