GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURES OF VARIOUS ROADS (LITTLEDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below. 

The reason for the said closures is for works to provide new electrical services. The said roads are expected to be closed each day between 09:30hrs and 17:00hrs from the 5th August 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed, on site, prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. This intended Order may permit the said closures and restrictions of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously, as required, and it is anticipated all works will be completed by

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400143 CHURCH LANE
(WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400143 Church Lane Road from the Westbury on Severn Level Crossing for approximately 570 Metres over the said crossing. The reason for the said closure is for works to the level crossing. The said road is expected to be closed from 20:00hrs on 3rd August 2025 until 06:00hrs on 8th August 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 400016 UNDERHILL (HEWELSFIELD & BROCKWEIR PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 400016 Underhill Road from outside the property known as ‘Brynheulog’ for a distance of approximately 120 metres. The reason for the said closure is for drainage works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted each day between the hours of 08:00 and 15:30 from 5th August 2025 until 8th August 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The reason for the said closure is for drainage works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted each day between 08:00hrs and 15:30hrs from 4th August 2025 until 8th August 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 18th August 2025 to 17:00hrs on 19th August 2025 or until the works have been completed. The reason for the said closure is for works due to flooding. The said road is expected to be closed from 18th August 2025 to 20th August 2025 or until the said works have been completed. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C15 Primrose Hill Road, from outside of the property known as ‘No.58 Primrose Hill’ to its junction with Court Road for a distance of approximately 540 metres. The reason for the said closure is for safety during work on an overhead structure, to enable pole replacement. The said road is expected to be closed on 21st August 2025 only or until the works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below. 
The reason for the said closures is for highway works by Ringway. There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 07:30hrs on 18th August 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of the dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required.
