FOOTPATH NO. 4, TALATON and

FOOTPATH NOS. 5, 6 and 7

OTTERY ST MARY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.

From: MONDAY, 4?? AUGUST 2025

To: WEDNESDAY, 27?? AUGUST 2025

No persons shall proceed on the sections of the affected paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths. FOOTPATH NO. 4, TALATON from a point to the north of Rose Cottage, eastwards to the River Tale. FOOTPATH NO. 5, OTTERY ST MARY from Black Aller Covert westwards to the River Tale. FOOTPATH NO. 6, OTTERY ST MARY from its junction with Footpath No. 7, Ottery St Mary southwards to a point immediately to the north of the A30. FOOTPATH NO. 7, OTTERY ST MARY from Middle Lodge to its junction with Footpath No. 86, Ottery St Mary.

There is no alternative route for Footpath No. 4, Talaton. The alternative route for the other paths above would be via Footpath No. 86, Ottery St. Mary that runs through Black Aller Covert.

The closure is necessary to enable safe set up and break down of the Beautiful Days 2025 music festival.
