(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.55) Order 202x
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts II and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order:
To introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions at the junction of Brighton Road and Frinton Road, Holland on Sea. From the Bus shelter on the South kerb of Frinton Road to the boundary of 57/59 Brighton Road on the West kerb. From entrance to Hove Court on South kerb of Frinton Road to the entrance of Hove Court on Brighton Road.
To revoke the No Waiting and No Loading at Any time restriction on the West side of School Road at its junction with Colchester Road, Elmstead Market. To revoke the No Waiting No loading and No Waiting Mon - Fri 8.30 - 9.30 and 2.30 - 3.30 on the East side of School Road for approximately 25 m from the junction of Colchester Road.
To introduce No Stopping at Any Time restrictions on the West side of School Road for approximately 25m from the junction with Colchester Road. To introduce No Stopping at Any time restrictions on the South side of Colchester Road, Elmstead Market from the Bus cage 30 m from School Road and 13 m into School Road on the East Kerb.
To Introduce a 12m Goods Vehicle Loading Bay on the East side of School Road, Elmstead Market, 13m from its junction with Colchester Road.
To revoke the No Waiting at Any time and No Waiting Mon- Sat 9am-6pm restrictions on the East and West sides of North Road, Clacton between its junction with St John’s Road and its junction with Ravensdale.
To Introduce No Stopping at Any time restrictions on the East and West sides of North Road, Clacton between its junction with St John’s Road and its junction with Ravensdale.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TM205 165, TM060 245, TM175 165 revision 0 with revision 1. Replacing tile numbers TM060 242 and TM175 162 revisions 1 with revisions 2.

(Green Lane, Walton on the Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Walton on the Naze in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Hall Lane to its junction with Cliff Parade a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th August 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2011EH2384508 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patch works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Cliff Parade, Percival Road, Hall Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th July 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nansen Road, Holland on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nansen Road, Holland on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2025 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ1030101426736 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patch works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Nansen Road, Slade Road, Stratford Road, Chelmsford Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th July 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Skelmersdale Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Skelmersdale Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Carnarvon Road to its junction with Holland Road a distance of approximately 580m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2011EH2365148 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patch works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Holland Road, High Street, Carnarvon Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th July 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
