THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (RIPLEY,DERBYSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A38 Trunk Road, at Ripley, in the County of Derbyshire, to enable drainage works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close –
(1) the slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the A38 to the roundabout junction with the A610 and the B6441, at Ripley; and
(2) the layby adjacent to the southbound carriageway of the A38 approximately 550 metres northeast of its junction with the slip road described in (1) above.
The work is expected to be carried out between 20:00 hours on Friday 1 August 2025 and 06:00 hours on Monday 4 August 2025. The Order will come into force on 25 July 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
A diversion route via the A38 to Little Eaton Roundabout will be signed
