Dorset Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The effect of the proposal will be to introduce 30mph speed limits along sections of D40604, D40612 and C24, Holt and 40mph speed limits along sections of C24, C95 and D40614 Holt.

Temporary Closure of Various Bridleways and Footpaths, Spetisbury And Tarrant Keyneston
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Bridleway E22/7 Tarrant Keyneston, Public Footpath E22/14 Spetisbury, Public Footpath E11/7 Spetisbury, Public Footpath E11/7 Spetisbury from grid reference ST391497 103545 to grid reference ST391420 103459, a distance of approximately 110 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with a health and safety related risk, which require the provision of safe working areas and to safeguard the highway users and highway workers. It will come into operation on 16 August 2025 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended under Section 15(5) of the Act for a further period.
The Order is required by Network Rail for Transport, if necessary.
This Order is required to give users crossing the level steam bridge that is considered unsafe to the River Stour crossing.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Knoll Lane, Corfe Mullen
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is intended to allow for work with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18th August 2025.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out drainage, carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Knoll Lane, Corfe Mullen as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Knoll Lane, Corfe Mullen.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E42/30, Ferndown
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath E42/30, Ferndown from grid reference SU 07378 00378 to grid reference SU 07314 00377, a distance of approximately 65 metres. The closure is needed in order to comply with health and safety related risks, which require the provision of safe working areas and the protection of highway workers and danger to users. It will come into operation on 8th August 2025 for a period of 26 weeks but it is expected the works will be completed by 5th September 2025.
This Order is required to allow the construction and installation of two new crossings along Church Road, Ferndown, and the widening of a new footpath in Millennium Park to connect to the new crossing.
There will be no alternative route.
