(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE NOTICE)
Footpath E8 Parish of Whissendine Order 2025
Rutland County Council District Council (‘the Council’) has powers under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) to make traffic regulation orders affecting the adopted highway and public rights of way within the County of Rutland.
TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council has made an order entitled the Rutland County Council District Council (Temporary Closure) Footpath E8 Parish of Whissendine Order 2025 as the Council are satisfied that foot traffic on the footpath should be restricted because works are proposed to be executed on the footpath.
The effect of the order is that during the dates and times specified below all pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along the length of footpath known as Footpath E8 while Mulberry Homes carry out road infrastructure works.
The duration of the Closure shall be for a maximum period of six months from 26th July 2025 or until the works are completed.
It is anticipated the works will take 6 months. The closure shall come into force when the appropriate signs are erected on site.
The duration of the Closure shall be as follows: from 26th July 2025 until 25th January 2026.
