Old Oxenhope Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL OLD OXENHOPE LANE/HANGING GATE LANE, OXENHOPE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Old Oxenhope Lane/ Hanging Gate Lane, Oxenhope intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Old Oxenhope Lane/ Hanging Gate Lane from its junction with March Lane to its junction with Upper March Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via March Lane, Moorside Lane and Upper Marsh Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 4th August 2025 and remain in force until 08:00 hours on the 4th August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
