Old Guy Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL OLD GUY ROAD, QUEENSBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Old Guy Road, Queensbury has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Old Guy Road from a point outside the Cricket Ground to approximately 135 metres north of the Cricket Ground.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Old Guy Road (unaffected section), Moor Close Lane, Halifax Road, Roper Lane, Green Lane, Brighouse and Denholme Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 29" July 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 31st July 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
